This morning You will be picked up in your hotel and then be drive to Shigatse. You will visit Pelkor Chode Monastery en route. It is a huge temple with a unique history and a wealth of Buddhist art. The Monastery was founded in 1418. Originally the compund housed approximately 15 different monastaries, made up of three different sects in a rare instance of tolerance amongst the Tibetan orders of Buddhism. Overnight stay at hotel.
After enjoying your breakfast visit the Tashilhumpo Monastery, one of the four greatest monasteries of the Gelugpa School of Tibetan Buddhism. After lunch you will be transferred to Tingri County. Overnight stay at hotel.
Today visit Rongbuk Temple, the highest altitude monastery on the planet and a vantage point for watching Mount Qomolangma. Then travel to the Everest Base Camp by eco friendly coach. It is absolutely a breath taking experience to stare up at the world's highest mountain from so close a position. Then you will be transferred to Shigatse. Overnight stay at hotel.
This morning You will be picked up in your hotel and then be drive to Lhasa. pay a visit to Norbulingka. It is a summer resort for different generations of Dalai Lamas, where they could take care of local affairs. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast you will be transfered to the Airport and take flight back home.
